The Peel Receives Concept Award from City of West Hollywood

The Peel received one of few available Concept Awards in the first round of screening for the City of West Hollywood's Off-Site Signage Program and is now authorized to proceed into the next stages of development.

The Peel signage project was submitted to the City of West Hollywood's Design Excellence Committee as part of their Off-Site Signage Program. The Off-Site Signage Program seeks to ensure high-quality signage projects that are highly creative and contextual to Sunset Blvd., with a focus on art and community benefit, to attract visitors to the Sunset Strip. 

This Peel recreates a stretch of land close to the City of West Hollywood’s eastern gateway into a multi-functional space that both improves and integrates into its surrounding area. Our design creates an illuminated, two-level event plaza equipped to host art exhibits, music and theatrical performances, food tasting events, and community and non-profit events - or just serve as a lively and inviting place for the community to meet and interact when no event is planned. It features a community plaza, water feature, manicured landscapes boundaries and changeable LED illumination throughout.
